Let me see if I have this right. When G.W. Bush invoked the tenants of Christianity, the MSM and liberal bloggers went hyper-ballistic for days on end. They warned the rest of America and the world that our Republican president was delusional enough (perhaps caused by his drug and alcohol addled mind) that G.W. was going to lead the world to nuclear Armageddon. They essentially called him delusional and an ignoramus right-wing fringe lunatic. Yet, G.W. actually went to church and by all accounts has genuine religious beliefs in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. This, despite the obvious fact that our nation was founded by such “right-wing lunatics” from George Washington on. This despite the Ten Commandments statuary found on many of our nations government buildings such as the U.S. Supreme Court. And despite the term, “In god we trust” on our paper money and the many other obvious examples of our Judeo-Christian heritage.
Yet, a recent study has shown that President Bill Clinton invoked even more direct calls to the God of Christianity, than did G.W., and that Obama is already on track to shatter Clintons calls to God; and the response from the MSM? Nada. Zip. Nothing... Once again proving the complete lack of integrity by either our progressive liberals, or our MSM. What disturbs me even more is the fact that I expected Obama to continue his ultra-liberal policies and unfortunately, I have come to expect nothing less than total collusion from our MSM, but if the polls are to be believed something like 67% of Americans still think Obama is doing a swell job!
A great example of this Obama-liberal-MSM collusion is what should be making all the news headlines today. Instead, only the Washington Times has even mentioned it. It’s what I call Obama-gate. On June 11, Obama fired Gerald Walpin, inspector general for the National Community Service. Obama’s reason? Simply because Obama no longer had “the fullest confidence” in Mr. Walpin. Senator Charles Grassley, Iowa Republican, is questioning Obama’s decision and rightfully so. The good Senator noted that the Inspector General Reform Act REQUIRES the president to “communicate in writing… the reasons for any such removal.” The act also requires the president to notify Congress in advance of the reasons for the removal to ensure that such removal’s are not for “Political Reasons.”
Remember all the conniptions the liberal left and the equally liberal MSM threw each time G.W. fired a federal prosecutor? But those positions are politicized and are at the discretion of the president. Obama simply failed, once again, to follow existing law and once again the MSM remains mute. So who is Mr. Walpin? He just happened to be the IG investigating the apparent shenanigans of the misuse of federal grants by a nonprofit education group which just happened to be led by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson. Johnson is an Obama supporter and former NBA basketball star.
Just don’t expect the NY Times, the Huffington Post, MSNBC, CNN, or any of the other Obama supporting MSM to bring any light to bear on Obama’s highly questionable actions anytime soon. And Obama-Gate? Not in the foreseeable future.
